Short Guide - The Petronect

Objective

This section allows the user to view and change personal data and search information of any other users of the company. The common user has limited access and cannot make changes on other users’ data. To update information is necessary to contact the administrator user.

Step by Step

When entering "My Account" menu, the following sections will appear: "My Personal Data", "My Logon Data" and "My Company Users". To enable the fields to become modifiable, click at the "Edit" button.

In "My Personal Data" the editable fields are:

  • Title.
  • Telephone.
  • Country.

Note: After making your changes, click on "Save" to save the changes

In "My Logon Data", the following actions are available:

  • Change password to access Petronect portal.
  • See Assigned Functions.
  • Change Language.
  • Change Time Zone.
  • Change Date Format.
  • Change Decimal Format.
  1. To change your password, click on "Change Password".
  1. In this screen, fill in the required fields and click on "Save".
  2. Note: The supplier must follow the following rules for resetting your password:

    • Must be between 8 and 20 characters
    • • It must have at least one character from each of the categories:
    • • Capital letter (ex: A, Z)
    • • Lowercase alphabetical (ex: a, z)
    • • Numeric (ex: 0.9)
    • • The "User" cannot be used as part of the "Password"
    • • The first 3 characters cannot be the same (ex: 111, Aaa, etc.)
    • • Must not contain blanks
    • • It must not contain special characters (ex:%, &, #, etc.)

Note: To enable the fields to become modifiable click at the "Edit" button. After making changes, click on "Save" to save the changes.

On “My Logon data” section, the common user can delete its own user, in case it is necessary.

  • To delete the user ID, click on the “Delete User” button.
  • A message will be displayed to confirm the deletion of the user ID. Click on the “Confirm” button.
  • After you delete the user account, it will not be possible to activate it afterwards, the personal data will remain hidden and the user will not have access to the Petronect Portal.

In "My Company Users" section you can:

  • Visualize all other users in the company.

The section of "My Company Users" will list all users of the company, except the one logged in and blocked users. The following fields will be displayed: "User Name", "Full Name", "Telephone", "E-mail", "Valid through", "Last Logon Date", "Admin." and the "Details" filed (which allows access to the registration data screen, and user functions). If delegated by an administrator user, you will be able to perform access review.

1. To access user details, click on the user's magnifying glass icon “ ”.

2. Two sections will be displayed: "User Data" with information of the selected user and "Functions", with the user functions and its definition.

Note: The "Details" option is only available to users without the administrator function. The administrator can view the users data through the Edit option.

  • Search the desired user. By clicking the "Enable Search by User", the system displays a new line in the company's users table and prompts the user to fill in at least one of the fields to perform the search.
  • Click on the "Enable Searching by User" button.
  • Please fill out the fields with the required information and select the filter icon on the left side. The system will display the user data according to the filter provided.
