Bureau Veritas Certification

Since 2005 the Portal of Purchasing and Contracting has the Certification, which states the compliance with the Confidentiality for Supplier Bids Declaration, according to norm ISO 17050-1.

The Bureau Veritas periodically evaluates the compliance of this declaration by ratifying the Petronect's commitment with the maintenance of the Information Security of their clients.

We would like to thank for our clients' support during the Transition phase and assure that our commitment will not stop here! Our efforts are continuous in the search for performance and process improvement, which is now focused regarding to the ISO certification standards fulfilling.

Statement of Supplier Bid Confidentiality
System Petronect

PETRONECT, located at the 1301 room, Sector 2 - 38/40 Passeio Street, Center town - RJ, maintains the confidentiality of the proposals submitted by suppliers in the opportunities via the Portal of Purchasing and Contracting. All data transferred and stored are confidential so as to comply with the relevant rules and laws applicable to Petronect negotiation with clients.

  • The means used to control the confidentiality of the proposals are the following:
  • 1. Use of a safe channel on the Portal to inform and submit proposals via Internet (https);
  • 2. Cryptograph the prices and comments completed on the bid;
  • 3. Set Standards and Specific Procedures for Petronect Information Security Policy to assure the following statement:
    • >Rules and Procedures for report, assignment of privileges and access control to users who participate on the purchasing and contracting opportunities;
    • > Standards and Procedures that aim at ensuring that the confidential information available on the website database shall be accessed only by authorized personnel. The control implemented applies to monitor these accesses.
