• 1. I cannot navigate in the Petronect Portal. What should I do?
  • The Portal uses SAP solution and is only compatible with the Internet Explorer browser. Check the links below to improve your navigation, based on the version of your Internet Explorer.

    In order to identify the version of your Internet Explorer, click “Tools” on the top bar of your browser, then click “Help” and “About Internet Explorer”.

    Click here if the version of your IE is 7.0 Click here if the version of your IE is 8.0 or 9.0 Click here if the version of your IE is 10.0 or 11.0

    
    

    If you use Firefox or Google Chrome, we recommend using the free plugin "IE Tab" to improve your navigation.

    In case you use Google Chrome, go to the Chrome Web Store and search for" IE Tab ".

    In case you use Firefox , click Tools » Add-ons and search for "IE Tab".

• 2. I'm not receiving communications and notifications from Petronect
  • Access the anti-spam option of your Internet Browser and autorize the following domains <@petronect.com.br> and <@petronect.com>. If it's not possible to proceed with this action, ask the support service of your company or directly the Internet Service Provider. At last, you can verify frequently your "Junk" folder and autorize the messages sent by Petronect.
    
• 3. Protect Confidential Information
  • Your password is personal and non-transferable, as well as your quotation prices. Do not give them to others, not even to Petronect employee
• 4. Don't leave your quotation for the last minute!
  • Plan ahead and SEND YOUR QUOTATION IN ADVANCE. Submitting your quote moments before the opportunity deadline is a risk that YOU CAN AVOID!.
• 5. Be careful when sending your quotation!
  • After filling in a quotation, it can only be sent when you click on "Submit". If you click on "Save", the quotation WILL NOT be sent, but only saved as a draft, therefore the Buyer will not receive it! Pay special attention when clicking on Submit.
• 6. About sending your proposal
  • Access the Training Material available at the Petronect Portal by clicking on "Vendors" > "Training". They were created exclusively to help you while you make your quotations. There are Training Materials for each modality (Electronic Invitation, Auction, Exemption, and Order Management). Don't waste your time! Download this material and feel more confident when sending your quotations!
• 7. Access the Petronect frequently to avoid losing new bid invitations
  • To check for new bid invitations, access Petronect and click on the link "Opportunity board", Click on “Status” to search for a bid and select “Current Bid Invitations” in the status search field and then click on “Start”.

  • To search for a bid invitation, access Petronect and click on the link "Opportunity board", Click on "Status"; to search for a bid and select "Current Bid Invitations"; in the status search field and then click on "Start".
• 9. How to submit pricing
  • Petrobras works with the following prices in their quotes:
    Quotes to Petrobras America Inc should be sent with gross price and, if there is a discount, freight or packing, it can be informed in separate fields. See our training materials for further information.
    Quotes to Petrobras Brazil and other business units should be sent with net price (Net value = Unit price w/o ICMS for each item. Use or calculator, available in our homepage, to submit the correct value).
• 10. Be careful during the quotation creation
  • Please solve all your technical doubts using the Collaboration Room. Buyers will not accept quotes that are not compatible to the technical specifications.
    
• 11. Be careful with the Bid Invitation dealine
  • Check the bid invitation deadline in the "Basic Data" tab. After the deadline is reached, you will not be able to submit quotes to the Bid Invitation.
• 12. Did you know that Petronect offers training sessions to its customers?
  • The Online Self-Empowerment Courses are available in the private area of our website. After logging into the Portal, access the menu “Training” > “Self Empowerment” and take all the courses available.
    
    The Online Presentation is a live training session presented through the internet. In order to schedule your participation, access the menu “Vendors” > “Training” in the Portal’s homepage.
