Next, the company must provide information to gain access to the Petronect system and complete the “Company Identification” phase, with Basic Data, Goods or Services Supplied, and Location.

Depending on the information provided in “Company Identification,” the Evaluation Criteria are made available in the “Evaluation Questionnaires” phase.

After entering the documents required, the company must submit the questionnaires for evaluation. Upon approval, the company is ready to participate in Petrobras's procurement process.

Corporate Registry and Simplified Record

Petrobras keeps a list of goods and services available for registration. The selection of items from this list in the “Company Identification” phase determines participation in the Corporate Registry (complete supply) and/or Simplified Record (simplified supply).

• Corporate Registry (complete supply)
Used for complete supplies; that is, assets and/or services of greater complexity, size, or value, available for Brazilian service providers and Brazilian or foreign companies supplying goods.

Upon approval in the evaluation process as a trader manufacturer, reseller/distributor or service provider, the company will receive the Certificado de Registro e Classificação Cadastral – CRCC (Certificate of Registration and Registry Classification), which is valid for up to one year. The CRCC must be renewed annually with the update of economic and legal information and/or any other information requested by Petrobras.

At the moment, companies not established in Brazil can only apply for the supply of goods.

• Simplified Record (simplified supply) – applies only to Brazilian companies
Used for simplified supply; that is, assets and/or services of local interest, of smaller size, complexity, or value. It’s available only for Brazilian companies.

After evaluation and approval, the company is eligible to supply local units for up to one year. To maintain such approval, the company must update legal information.

Companies approved only for simplified record supplies do not receive the CRCC.

Important: Approval in the Petrobras's Registry of Suppliers of Goods and Services does not guarantee participation in all of Petrobras's biddings.
